Life for the Bangladeshi community in the Sunderland area is rich and varied, within this section of the site you can find useful help and advice for most age groups. There is also a major community centre for the bangladeshi people of Sunderland.

The Sunderland Bangladeshi Community Centre was purposefully built to meet the needs of the local Bangladeshi community. The Centre is a focal point for the Bangladesh community and is OPEN TO ALL.

The aim of the Bangladeshi Community centre is to provide a safe, secure, well managed, attractive and convenient meeting place for the Bangladeshi and wider local community in Hendon to meet and engage in activities.
