This section of the site is for anyone who wants to improve their reading, writing and maths. Remember 1 in 4 people have problems with reading writing or maths - your not alone and there is a lot of help available. The information below can help.

Local Help
Lots of local organisations help with reading, writing and maths. Hendon Learning Centre at the library on Villette Road has drop sessions you can attend most days. The staff are really friendly and will be happy to help you.

Reading, writing and Maths are sometimes called Basic Skills. This site helps you find a local course. If you ring the following number 0800 700 987 they will advise you on what is available locally. The site also lets you test your reading, writing and maths skills.
