COFFEE MORNING

Every Thursday morning between 9.00 am and 11.00 am why not come along to the Initiative Building for a cup of coffee and a chat with friends. You can also make new friends or catch up with friends you haven't seen for some time. We also play a game of Bingo and are sometimes entertained by the children from the Kindergarten.

This is becoming more and more popular so why not come along to have a relaxing two hours!

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

We have recently started up a Neighbourhood Watch Group and are in the process of forming a Committee. The purpose of the Group is to try to improve conditions on the Estate and to encourage and foster a renewed community spirit. If you are concerned about anything on the Estate and are willing to try to improve matters please come along to our meetings held in the Community Building.

The next meeting is on Tuesday 1 April 2008 at 7.00 pm. For more information please ring 0191 5250007.

PLAINSY PURLERS

Can you knit or crochet or would you like to learn? If you already knit or crochet perhaps you would like to pass on your skills to other people. Knitting and crochet are becoming a dying art and need to be kept alive. If you have any wool that you don't use anymore we would be grateful for any donations.

Come along to our Plainsy Purlers sessions that will start on Wednesday 12 March 2008 between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm. For further details ring 0191 5250007.
