Netmums is a unique local network for mums with a wealth of information and advice on being a mum or dad in your home town. The network helps mums cope and enjoy being a mum. If you are a Dad, don't be put off by the name, Dad's are welcome too! ... as are child minders, nannies, grandparents, health visitors... and anyone working with families.

Bumps Maternity - An online shop selling things you need during pregnancy and for toddlers such as clothing and toys. They also have a small shop in Sunderland. www.bumpsmaternity.com

Easington Lane Action Group - Provides weekly toddler sessions for 0-3 year olds, Women’s Group, Boys Group at Easington Lane Community Access Point. They are a local group of women who have decided that by hosting toddler sessions, it gives us an opportunity to talk and share things with each other, and also helps our kids to mix with other kids, which is very good for preparing them into a classroom environment. • Indoor Bowls - Mon & Thurs 1.30pm - 3.30pm
